From 3 November to 31 December 2025, DBS/POSB is offering an exclusive S$100 bonus cashback when you spend on in-person overseas and dining transactions in foreign currency. This is on top of the usual rewards.

How to Join the Promotion
Step 1: Register via DBS PayLah!
- Open the DBS PayLah! app and tap ‘Rewards’ at the bottom menu bar.
- Look for the banner titled ‘Overseas Shop & Dine Cashback Promotion 2025’ and tap to register.
- If you’re new to PayLah!, download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Be Among the First 40,000 Registrants
- Only the first 40,000 principal credit or debit cardmembers will qualify.
- Your eligible spend will only start tracking from the date of registration, so make sure to register before you start spending.
- Transactions made before registration won’t count—even if they fall within the promo period.
Step 3: Track Your Progress
- After registration, you can monitor your spending via the ‘Overseas Shop & Dine Cashback Promotion 2025’ Spend Tracker on PayLah!.
- Once you hit your spend goal, you’ll automatically qualify for the S$100 cashback reward. Your spend goal is personalized by DBS based on your previous spending patterns, can range from S$1,000 to S$5,000. In my case, I was given S$1,000. At S$1,000, the cashback is 10% while accumulating your regular miles/cashback.

Step 4: Receive Your Cashback
Your S$100 cashback will be credited to your DBS/POSB credit or debit card (whichever was last used) within 5 working days after you receive the PayLah! notification confirming 100% goal completion. It will then appear in your next card statement.
Qualifying Spend Categories
- A major advantage of this promotion is that your qualifying spend is combined across all DBS/POSB credit cards. This allows you to split your spending between multiple cards to reach your target amount.
- For instance, if your goal is S$1,000, you can divide your spending between different DBS cards, and purchases made by supplementary cardholders will also contribute to the principal cardholder’s total, making it easier to hit the required spend.
- You’ll earn cashback on eligible overseas in-store shopping and dining transactions, as long as they fall under the qualifying categories. Online payments are excluded, so avoid making purchases through mobile ordering applications & domains (e.g. Alipay, Wechat Pay or similar apps), as these won’t be counted.
- Also note that these transactions must be processed in foreign currency, not SGD.

Recommended Cards for This Promo
1.DBS Altitude
- A solid all-rounder that earns miles on overseas spending, making it a great pick if you’re traveling during the promo period as it earns an uncapped 2.2 miles per dollar on foreign currency transactions. The 3% FX fee (for AMEX) is slightly lower than most cards, adding to its appeal. However, the retailer may or may not be able to accept Amex, so I carry the Visa version which is more widely accepted worldwide.
2. DBS Live Fresh Card – Zero FX Fee Promo
- There is an ongoing promo for this card to offset the 3.25% fcy fees of up to S$50 when you spend a minimum of S$800 per calendar month.
- At a sweet spot spending of S$1,538, you would max out this foreign currency fee cashback of S$50.
- This promotion is only available across selected destinations:
- Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam
- East Asia: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Mongolia, South Korea, Taiwan
- You can get more information on the DBS Livefresh website.

Here are the top picks at a glance:

Min spend required on card | nil | S$800 per month | nil |

My Strategy:
If I were in-store shopping overseas paying in foreign currency, DBS Livefresh would be my top choice with a minimum spend of S$800, up to a sweet spot spending of S$877.19 per calendar month to max out the cashback. Afterwhich, I would switch to DBS Altitude for the remaining S$122.81 for the rest of the shopping or dining spend to hit S$1,000 of my spend goal for this promotion. Do check your spend goal to see if it’s even worthwhile for you to go for this promotion.
