How The "Up To 10%" Grab Cashback Works
The 10% cashback rate is an “up to” rate — what you actually earn depends on how much you spend on Grab and non-Grab purchases during each billing cycle. Here’s how it plays out in practice:
Scenario 1: 3% Cashback
Sarah spends S$500 on Grab and S$200 on non-Grab purchases in the same billing cycle.
- Grab spending: S$500
- Non-Grab spending: S$200
- Applicable Grab cashback: 3%
- S$500 × 3% = S$15 GrabCoins
- Her non-Grab spending is below S$500, so no 1.75% cashback is earned this cycle.
Scenario 2: 5% Cashback
Marcus spends S$800 on Grab and S$600 on non-Grab purchases in the same billing cycle.
- Grab spending: S$800
- Non-Grab spending: S$600
- First S$500 of Grab spending (3%) = S$15
- Next S$300 of Grab spending (5%) = S$15
- Total Grab cashback (in GrabCoins): S$30
- Non-Grab cashback: 1.75% × S$600 = S$10.50 statement credit
Scenario 3: 10% Cashback
Cheryl spends S$1,500 on Grab and S$500 on non-Grab purchases in the same billing cycle.
- Grab spending: S$1,500
- Non-Grab spending: S$500
- First S$500 of Grab spending (3%) = S$15
- Next S$500 of Grab spending (5%) = S$25
- Remaining S$500 of Grab spending (10%) = S$50
- Total Grab cashback (in GrabCoins): S$90
- Non-Grab cashback: 1.75% × S$500 = S$8.75 statement credit
So if you’re trying to maximise your Grab rewards, the key is not just how much you spend on Grab — you also need to hit the applicable S$500 eligible non-Grab spending requirement for the higher local Grab tiers.
Who Should Consider This Card?
Best For Frequent Grab Spending In Singapore
The GXS Credit Card earns up to 10% unlimited instant cashback in GrabCoins on eligible Grab spending, including Grab rides, GrabFood, Grab Dine Out, GrabMart and GrabExpress.

Best For Southeast Asia Travellers With Overseas Grab Spending
Going overseas? The GXS Credit Card offers 10% unlimited instant cashback in GrabCoins on eligible Grab spending in Southeast Asia, with no minimum spend requirement. It also charges zero foreign transaction fees, so you can enjoy your rewards without worrying about extra FX fees eating into them.
You could be using Grab rides in Bangkok, GrabMart in Malaysia, or GrabFood in the Philippines while travelling around Southeast Asia and still earn 10% cashback on eligible Grab spending, with no cashback cap. That means even if you spend S$10,000 in a month on overseas Grab, you could earn S$1,000 in cashback.
Best For Those Who Want One Cashback Card For Everything & Can Comfortably Hit S$500 Spend Per Month
You earn 1.75% unlimited cashback on eligible local non-Grab spending, as long as you charge at least S$500 in eligible non-Grab spending during the billing cycle. At 1.75%, that is the highest unlimited cashback rate in Singapore right now — and whether it’s retail shopping or dining at restaurants, it’s the same rate, with no cap and no category to chase.
That makes it worth a look if S$500 a month is easy for you and you’d rather not juggle multiple cards. One card, one rate — you don’t have to remember which merchant earns what.
Best For Grab Dine Out Deals
You can also use your GXS Credit Card to pay for eligible Grab Dine Out Deals and earn GrabCoins on the eligible transaction. This means you can enjoy the applicable Dine Out promotion while still earning rewards on your spending.
Say I’m at Suntec City and looking for somewhere to eat. I can tap Nearby Deals on Grab to see what’s around, and I spot Haidilao at Marina Square, where I can get 10% off my bill with a Grab Dine Out Deal.

After my meal, I just need to tap “Pay Bill” and I can see that there is a 10% discount applied to my total bill already. Since I’ve already connected my GXS Credit Card to the Grab app, I can swipe “Pay Bill”, and the transaction will count toward my Grab Spend while I enjoy the Dine Out discount. That’s how you can “double-dip”.

A Little Extra Cashback On Singtel Bills
The GXS Credit Card also gives you 1.75% unlimited cashback on eligible Singtel bills with no minimum spend requirement. It’s a nice added perk if you’re already using the card for your other spending.
Tracking Of Spend & Rewards Made Easy Within The App
And if you’re worried about keeping track of your spending, the GXS app makes it easy to check your rewards. Simply go to Card & Rewards → Cycle Rewards to see your spending and cashback for the current cycle, so you don’t have to manually track your Grab and non-Grab spend.

Here you can see I’ve spent S$14.70 on Grab and nothing on non-Grab spending yet. Because cashback is calculated per billing cycle, the app also tells me I have 20 days left to hit the next spend tier — so I know exactly how much time I have to work with.

Getting Set Up: Make Sure You Actually Earn
Use GXS Credit Card As Your Grab Payment Mode For Rewards
Upon booking or checkout on Grab, make sure you select your GXS Credit Card as the payment method when paying for your Grab transaction. GrabPay wallet top-ups and GrabPayLater payments do not qualify for the cashback.

Seamlessly Add Your GXS Credit Card to Grab
You can also add your GXS Credit Card into your Grab seamlessly. Under “View card & rewards”, scroll down to “Manage Card” and you will see “Add card to Grab”.

Billing & Repayment: What You Need To Know
The cashback tiers on the GXS Credit Card are counted per billing cycle, not per calendar month — so knowing when your cycle starts and ends is what decides whether you actually hit the S$500 and S$1,000 thresholds.
- You can choose your own repayment date when you sign up for the card. Subsequently, this cannot be changed.
- Your e-statement is generated 14 days before your payment due date, and you can view or download it from the GXS app.
- Your bill must be paid within 14 days of your statement date.
- To pay, go to your FlexiCredit dashboard in the GXS app, tap Repay, enter the amount and pay from your GXS Savings Account for instant clearance. If you are paying from another bank, select Other bank to see your card clearing account details, then make a FAST transfer.
T&Cs & disclaimers apply.
