If you hold an HSBC card and you’ve got a Singapore Airlines return flight to book today, here’s one promotion worth knowing about: the code HSBCDEAL takes S$60 off each return ticket — up to S$120 off if you’re booking for two.

All Singapore Airlines destinations are included except Southeast Asia. These include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Your booking has to be a return trip whose first boarding point is Singapore — the whole itinerary has to start there. Both flights have to be operated by Singapore Airlines, which rules out codeshare flights. Open-jaw bookings do not work either. The two-passenger cap counts adults, children and infants alike, but a child or infant ticket gets a prorated discount rather than the full S$60. The discount applies to the fare only, not to taxes, fees, or extras like seat selection, excess baggage and insurance.

Each round has its own travel-by date. The round opening 25 August covers outbound travel to 31 July 2027.
Every round has a limited quota, released first-come, first-served, so fastest fingers first. You will know that the promo code is gone when the promo code field returns “This promo code has expired. Re-enter another promo code.” HSBC marks sold-out rounds on the page linked above, so check there before you plan a booking around one. And the code is not refundable: if you book with it and later cancel or rebook, you do not get it back.
Which HSBC Credit Card To Pay With
- HSBC Revolution — 4 mpd on the online booking, up to S$1,000 of spend a calendar month. That becomes 8 mpd on up to S$1,200 a calendar month if you keep an average daily balance of at least S$50,000 in the SGD side of a sole HSBC Everyday Global Account. No annual fee, no minimum spend.
- HSBC TravelOne — 1.2 mpd on local spend and 2.4 mpd on foreign currency, with 4 airport lounge visits a year for the primary cardholder.
- HSBC Advance — 1.5% cashback with no minimum spend, or 2.5% if your monthly spend is more than S$2,000, capped at S$70 a calendar month.
- HSBC Live+ — built for dining, shopping and entertainment, so a flight booking earns 0.3%.

My Take
The HSBC Singapore Airlines discount is a good way to get some good deals on your flight tickets, for up to two passengers on one booking. Plan your dates and routes beforehand so that you can check out with the card and promo code the moment the clock strikes 10am.
