What is LongBridge Cashplus?
Longbridge Cashplus is a cash management feature that invests your idle funds into Money Market Funds (MMFs). While not principal-guaranteed, these funds are designed with capital preservation in mind, aiming to deliver returns similar to or better than traditional savings accounts.
Currently, Cashplus offers two MMF options:
- Fullerton SGD Cash A (for SGD)
- Fullerton USD Cash A USD Acc (for USD)
These funds invest in high-quality, short-term instruments—such as government and corporate bonds, commercial bills, and fixed deposits—with maturities of 397 days or less.
As of now, the 7-day annualised yield for SGD Cashplus stands at 2.6496%. This makes it a useful place to temporarily park funds while waiting for your target price to hit—once that happens, Longbridge automatically redeems the required amount to execute your trade.
Personally, I’ll be sticking with the SGD Cashplus option to avoid any potential forex risk associated with the USD fund.

- Singapore residents for this purpose is defined as: locals, PRs, those with valid work/employment pass holders (MOM-issued), individuals with a valid Singapore residential address.
Platform Fee Coupons:
- The Platform Fee coupons can be found on the Longbridge App under Me > My Coupons and will be available within 5 working days upon meeting the criteria
- Platform fee coupons apply automatically to eligible stock and ETF orders.
- Maximum deduction per order:
- US: US$1.5
- HK: HK$15
- SG: S$1.5
- Each coupon is valid for a maximum of 100 orders and has its own validity period.
- The 3 coupons per market are valid together for 3 months (June 1 – August 31). Check individual coupon details for exact dates.
NVIDIA, Apple, AMD, & Google stocks:
- This will be awarded as Stock Coupons, accessible in the Longbridge App under Me > My Coupons. Once the requirements are met, the coupon will be issued within 5 working days, and the corresponding stock will be credited to your account within 10 working days after you redeem it. Do note, if the coupon isn’t activated before it expires, the reward will be lost.
Interest Boost Coupon:
- The interest boost coupon(s) will appear in your Longbridge App (Me > My Coupons) within 5 working days after you qualify. This coupon only works with Longbridge Cash Plus, which automatically invests your idle funds in money market funds to earn income. It takes around 3 days for the idle funds to be subscribed into CashPlus. The interest boost period of each coupon is 90 days, and is capped at up to S$2,000. Every 30 days, the bonus interest will be paid out in cash (SGD) to your account within about 3 working days.

- The cash coupon will appear in your Longbridge App account under Me > My Coupons within 5 business days after you qualify.

How Good Are the Returns?
If you deposit S$2,000 for 90 days and complete 3 buy trades, you’ll receive S$163 in returns(excluding platform trading fee coupons) — that’s a 36.92% annualised ROI.
With a S$10,000 deposit with 5 buy trades, your return jumps to S$348, or an annualised ROI of 14.71%.
Even at the S$100,000 tier with 8 buy trades, you’re still looking at a return of S$848, which works out to 3.44% annualised.
These numbers don’t include the additional yield from Cashplus (Fullerton SGD Cash A), currently offering around 2.52% p.a..
In a climate where interest rates are dropping to 2–3% (with Chocolate Finance slashing theirs by 1 June 2025), parking S$2K or S$10K here could be a smart short-term move for better returns. Compared to May’s sign up deal, this month’s deal is significantly better for S$2K and S$10K deposits.
