No Miles Transfer Fee till 31 Jan 2025 (yay!)
Need some miles to top up for a trip? You can get the 30K miles sign up rewards and transfer straight to your frequent flyer program (like Krisflyer) or hotel loyalty program without needing to pay the transfer fee (usually around S$27) from now till 31 Jan 2025. After the first 10,000 miles, there is a minimum conversion block of just 2 miles (It is best to just use it to avoid orphan miles). So you can transfer 10,000 miles, then 10,002, 10,004 miles which could be a good option to prevent orphan miles. HSBC TravelOne has a huge variety of transfer partners which is great if you want to transfer to other transfer partners other than Krisflyer.
Points can be pooled together to save on transfer fee
After 31 Jan 2025, if you have other HSBC Credit cards (HSBC Revolution), you can also pool the points together and transfer them at one go and just pay one transfer fee.
Don’t fancy the welcome miles?
You can go for the Singsaver gifts too, but there is a higher minimum spend required.
Receive an Apple iPad 10th Gen 10.9 wifi 64GB (worth S$529) or Dyson Micro 1.5kg Vacuum (worth S$599) or Apple Watch Series 9 GPS 41mm (worth S$604.50) or S$350 Shopee Voucher or 19K Max Miles upon activating and when you:
- spend S$1,000 and pay annual fee of S$196.20 by the end of the following calendar month from the card account opening date.
- provide marketing consent to HSBC until sign up gift is fulfilled
