Singapore Airlines has a fare sale on, and DBS, Citi and HSBC are each stacking a discount code on top of it, worth up to S$600 off — each one runs for a single week, at a different time, and works only on that bank’s own cards.
The sale runs from 14 July to 9 August 2026, for travel on selected dates through 31 May 2027. Here are the three bank windows, and the best cards to use for each bank.
The Three Bank Windows
All three cover round-trip Singapore Airlines flights departing Singapore, and the discount is before taxes and fees.
| Card | Discount | Booking Window | Code | Other things to note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DBS/POSB | S$50 off per booking (up to 2 passengers) | 2nd Tue monthly (14–20 Jul fully redeemed) | DBS50OFF | Any DBS/POSB card; round-trip only |
| HSBC | S$60 off each ticket, up to 2 passengers — so up to S$120 | Last Tue monthly | HSBCDEAL | Excludes all of Southeast Asia |
| Citi Prestige | S$120 off each ticket for Premium Cabins (Premium Economy Class, Business Class, First Class/Suites) S$60 off each ticket for Economy Cabin (code CITIPRESTIGE60) | 21–27 Jul 2026 | CITIPRESTIGE for Premium Cabins CITIPRESTIGE60 for Economy | Capped at 5 return tickets per booking |
Full terms for all three codes are on Singapore Airlines’ promotions page. Each bank also lists its own: DBS and HSBC. Citi website is not updated at time of posting, but it is featured on Singaporeair promotion page.
These windows recur monthly, so if you miss one there is a next. DBS/POSB fall on the 2nd Tuesday — the 14–20 Jul quota is fully redeemed, and the next rounds are 11 Aug, 8 Sep, 13 Oct, 10 Nov, 8 Dec 2026. HSBC falls on the last Tuesday — 25–31 Aug, 29 Sep–5 Oct, 27 Oct–2 Nov, 24–30 Nov 2026, 29 Dec 2026–4 Jan 2027. Citi Prestige only has the 21–27 Jul window on Singapore Airlines’ page for now.
My Take
Citi Prestige gives the most discount of S$120 off every ticket, up to S$600 across a family booking, but its window only opens on 21 July. HSBC’s S$60 off is great for all flights from Singapore to all destinations in the Singapore Airlines network, excluding Southeast Asia destinations (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam). DBS/POSB is quite popular as it is already fully redeemed for July, so be quick when the next window opens.
Best Miles Credit Cards To Use For This Promotion:
Only DBS, Citi and HSBC cards unlock these discount codes, so those are the cards to pay with. DBS Woman’s World and HSBC Revolution earn the most on the booking, at 4 mpd; the rest earn less on a flight but are worth holding for their perks, like the lounge passes or the miles that do not expire.
- DBS Woman’s World — 4 mpd on the online booking, up to S$1,000 a month, then the base 0.4 mpd after that; the miles expire about a year after you earn them.
- DBS Altitude — 1.3 mpd on local spend, and the miles never expire; 2 free lounge visits a year.
- DBS Vantage — a premium card: S$120,000 minimum income, and a S$599.50 annual fee that becomes non-waivable from 1 Aug 2026. 1.5 mpd on local spend, with 10 free lounge visits a year; the miles expire after three years.
- HSBC Revolution — 4 mpd on direct flight booking, up to S$1,000 a month, then 0.4 mpd after that; an HSBC card, so it also unlocks HSBCDEAL.
- HSBC TravelOne — 1.2 mpd on local spend, with 4 free lounge visits a year
- Citi Prestige — a premium card: S$120,000 minimum income, and a S$651.82 annual fee with no standard waiver. 1.3 mpd on local spend, 12 free lounge visits a year.
Best Cashback Credit Cards To Use For This Promotion:
Airlines are not a bonus category on these banks’ cashback cards, so most of them drop to their base rate on a flight. Within the three discount codes:
- HSBC Advance — 1.5% on the fare with no minimum, or 2.5% if your spend that month tops S$2,000, capped S$70 a month.
- DBS Live Fresh or POSB Everyday — get DBS50OFF, but a flight sits at their 0.3% base rate.

Conclusion:
Overall, this is a really good deal and a good time to stack a good promotion with the right credit cards. Since some promotions come round every month, it might be worth applying for the right credit card now to set you up for them when they land.
