If you hold a DBS or POSB card and you’re booking a Singapore Airlines return flight, you can take advantage of the promo code DBS50OFF to get up to S$100 off Singapore Airlines flights, on the second Tuesday of every month, with a fresh quota each time. The code takes S$50 off each passenger’s return fare, for up to two passengers on one booking, to any destination Singapore Airlines flies to from Singapore.
The Details
| Term | Details |
|---|---|
| Promo code | DBS50OFF |
| Discount | S$50 off each passenger’s return nett fare, up to 2 passengers per booking, up to S$100 |
| When it opens | Second Tuesday of the month, 10.00am SGT |
| Cabins | Economy, Premium Economy, Business, First and Suites |
| Eligible cards | DBS and POSB credit or debit cards. The DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card does not qualify |
| Where to book | singaporeair.com only |
Your booking has to be a return trip whose first boarding point is Singapore — the whole itinerary has to start there, so one-way and open-jaw bookings do not work. Both the outbound and the inbound flight must be operated by Singapore Airlines, which rules out codeshare flights. The discount applies to the fare only, not to taxes, fees, or extras like seat selection, excess baggage and insurance. Child and infant tickets get a prorated discount rather than the full S$50.
When The Next Window Opens
Booking runs from the Tuesday to the following Monday:
| Booking window |
|---|
| 8 – 14 September 2026 |
| 13 – 19 October 2026 |
| 10 – 16 November 2026 |
| 8 – 14 December 2026 |
Each round has its own travel-by date, and DBS does not print it. Its page says the travel period is as advised on Singapore Airlines’ website, so check there when the window opens.
Every round has a limited quota, released first-come, first-served. You will know the month’s quota is gone when the promo code field on Singapore Airlines’ website returns “This promo code has expired. Re-enter another promo code.” DBS marks sold-out rounds on its own Singapore Airlines page, but that flag can lag, so Singapore Airlines’ page is the one to check. And the code is not refundable: if you book with it and later cancel or rebook, you do not get it back.
The full promo code terms are on Singapore Airlines’ promotions page, and DBS lists the offer on its own Singapore Airlines page.
Which DBS Card To Pay With
Almost any DBS or POSB card can be used with the promo code, but only some cards have a decent earn rate on the booking itself.
- DBS Woman’s World Mastercard — 4 mpd on the online booking, up to S$1,000 of online spend a calendar month, then 0.4 mpd. The DBS Points expire a year after you earn them.
- DBS Vantage — 1.5 mpd on local spend and 10 Priority Pass lounge visits a year for the principal cardholder. The S$599.50 annual fee is no longer waivable by spend.
- DBS Altitude — 1.3 mpd on local spend, 2 Priority Pass lounge visits a year for the principal cardholder, and the miles never expire.
- DBS Live Fresh and POSB Everyday — both unlock the code, but a flight sits at their 0.3% base rate.
- DBS yuu — unlocks the code like any other DBS card, but its 10 mpd only applies at yuu merchants like Cold Storage, Giant and SimplyGo. Singapore Airlines is not one, so a flight earns 0.14 mpd, the lowest here.
Latest DBS/POSB sign-up deals at a glance:
DBS Woman’s World Mastercard does not have sign up offers usually, so a workaround to get the best sign up promo is to sign up for DBS Altitude first. Since the DBS points can be pooled together, both cards work well together.

My Take
The DBS/POSB Singapore Airlines discount is a good way to get some good deals on your flight tickets, for up to two passengers on one booking. Plan your dates and routes beforehand so that you can check out with the card and promo code the moment the clock strikes 10am.
If you hold an HSBC card too, there is a running promo on the last Tuesday of the month that takes more off, on all Singapore Airlines destinations from Singapore except Southeast Asia. For everything else that earns on flights, see my best credit cards for flights guide.
