Qualifying Spend Strategy
Strategy 1: Lower Qualifying Spend – Get the Singsaver Reward
- Singsaver reward is stackable with the Direct bank Offer but both have different qualifying spends. It is important to take note that if you only want to get the Singsaver reward, or wants to spend a minimum amount, go for Singsaver’s S$500 minimum spend within 30 days from card approval and get your choice of gift from Singsaver.
Strategy 2: Higher Qualifying Spend – Maximize both Rewards
- If you want to get BOTH the Singsaver and Direct Bank Rewards, and maximize the gifts, then you must hit the S$2,000 per month for 2 consecutive months (that’s S$4,000 spends in 2 months) that is required from UOB.

What’s good about the card:
Whichever strategy you do, you will still be able to get the 1.7% cashback since UOB Absolute Cashback Card has no minimum spend requirement, no cashback cap, and no spend exclusions! In addition, UOB Absolute is the only way to earn cashback on Grab top ups. Even though it’s only 0.3% cashback, but it is extra savings in the long run. However, for the qualifying spend, Grab top-ups and any ewallet top ups are excluded. You can spend on safer things like groceries, shopping etc. Basically, this is a good promotion that you can take
