Advantages:

  • 3 miles per dollar on common categories like online groceries, food delivery and transport
  • Non-expiring points
  • No minimum monthly spend required
  • Flexibility of redemption: choice of Air Miles, Cash Rewards or Shopping Vouchers with your 360 Rewards Points
  • Points can be pooled together with other SC 360 Reward Points Earning Cards (for all other frequent flyer program) (or SC Visa infinite Cards (for Krisflyer)), allowing you to save on transfer fee when converting your points to your favourite frequent flyer program

Disadvantages:

  • Higher than usual FCY fee of 3.5%
  • 3 Miles Per Dollar has a spending cap of S$1,000 per statement month

  • When are 360 Rewards Points credited: The base 3x/5x 360° Rewards Points for local/overseas spend are credited when your transaction posts, which generally takes 1-3 working days. The bonus 4.5x 360° Rewards Points for local grocery, food delivery, and transport will be credited at the end of the statement period.
  • How long are 360 Rewards points valid for: There is no expiry
  • Is there an expiry date on 360 Rewards with other cards: SCB Journey Card points don’t expire, unlike the SCB Smart Card, SCB Rewards+, and other points-earning cards, which have expiry dates.

Final Thoughts:

This card is perfect for those who spend a lot consistently on the bonus categories. As the points are non-expiring, you can take your time to earn the miles as you go.
