Best Credit Cards for Grab & Ride-Hailing in Singapore (2026 Edition)
Singapore’s ride-hailing apps — Grab, Gojek, TADA, ComfortDelGro’s Zig — nearly all code as MCC 4121 (Taxicabs & Limousines) at the merchant level. The good news: most cards that bonus “online” or “Transport” spend already include MCC 4121, so you don’t need any clever workarounds. The card you pick depends on which app you ride (Grab vs Gojek) and whether you want miles or cashback.
Note: Grab Food and Grab Mart usually code as MCC 5812 (Restaurants) or 5814 (Fast Food), not 4121. The cards below earn on rides specifically, not on food delivery from the same Grab app.

Ride-hailing apps code as MCC 4121 (Taxicabs & Limousines), the same MCC as Tribecar (car-share) and metered taxis. The cards below earn the top miles or cashback rate on Grab, Gojek, TADA, and Zig charges. Pick one miles card and one cashback card — no need to apply for every card on this list.
Miles Cards
1. DBS yuu Card — 10 mpd / 18% rebates on Gojek (S$800 min spend)
The DBS yuu Card earns up to 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar on Gojek rides — the highest earn rate on this list. Gojek is one of the yuu programme’s partner merchants, so when you spend at least S$800 in a calendar month across yuu merchants, your Gojek charges hit the bonus tier. This rate applies to Gojek only — not Grab, TADA, or Zig.
Why this card:
- Up to 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar on Gojek — nothing else comes close.
- S$800 monthly spend across yuu merchants unlocks the bonus tier.
- Yuu Points can be redeemed for vouchers or converted to KrisFlyer miles.

- Enter the referral code KWMLISBL during sign-up

2. Citi Rewards Mastercard — 4 mpd online (S$1,000/month cap)
The Citi Rewards Mastercard earns 4 miles per dollar on online transactions (regardless of MCC, with some exclusions like travel and car rentals) and on offline shopping at fashion & department stores.
For Grab, the charge can be processed as an online transaction as long as you add your card directly into the app — which is what triggers the 4 miles per dollar bonus. If you ever paid for a ride through a physical card terminal, or even via Apple Pay or Google Pay on the app, the bonus would not apply.
Why I chose this card:
- 4 miles per dollar on broad online spend, with no minimum spend.
- Citi ThankYou Points convert 1:1 to KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, and 9 other partners.
- Points are valid for 5 years + 3 months grace.
Requirements (tap to expand)
- Eligible for new main Citi Cardmembers only (no existing Citi card, no Citi card closed in the past 12 months)
- Spend S$800 in the first 2 months of card approval
Requirements (tap to expand)
- You qualify if: you have no Citibank credit card right now
- Spend min. S$500 within 30 days of card approval

3. HSBC Revolution — 4 mpd online + transport (S$1,000/month cap, 8 mpd with EGA)
HSBC Revolution earns 4 miles per dollar on selected online and contactless spend, and the bank’s whitelist explicitly includes MCC 4121 — so Grab, Gojek, TADA, and Zig all earn the full bonus without needing any workaround.
Why I chose this card:
- S$1,000 spend cap (S$1,200 with the 8 miles per dollar tier).
- 4 miles per dollar applies to selected categories like travel + online + contactless.
- HSBC Reward Points expire after 37 months.
- 8 miles per dollar promo available if you hold S$50,000 in HSBC Everyday Global Account.

Requirements (tap to expand)
- You qualify if: you have no HSBC credit card right now, AND haven’t cancelled any HSBC credit card in the last 12 months
- Spend min. S$500 by the end of the month after you’re approved. Example: approved in May → spend by 30 June.
- During the application, tick the box to receive marketing messages from HSBC. Don’t unsubscribe until your gift arrives — if you do, HSBC can cancel the reward.
- SingSaver will email you a Rewards Redemption Form — check inbox (and spam folder) after applying. Fill it in within 14 days to claim your gift, or you’ll lose it.
4. UOB Lady's Card — 4 mpd Transport (S$1,000/month cap, change quarterly)
UOB Lady’s Card lets you pick one bonus category each quarter to earn 4 miles per dollar. Choose Transport and your Grab spend earns 4 miles per dollar, up to S$1,000 per month.
A common mistake: do not pick Travel. Despite the name, Travel does not cover ride-hailing or taxi MCCs.
The cap depends on which tier you hold:
- UOB Lady’s Classic Card — 4 miles per dollar on S$1,000 per month, one bonus category.
- UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card (and above) — 4 miles per dollar on S$750 per category per month, across two bonus categories.
Why I chose this card:
- Open to all genders despite the “Lady’s” branding — everyone can apply.
- You can change the bonus category every quarter for different spending patterns.
Requirements (tap to expand)
- You qualify if: you have no UOB credit card right now, AND haven’t cancelled any UOB credit card in the last 12 months
- This is a timed flash deal. Only the FIRST 3 persons to submit a valid application at 2PM or 10PM SGT wins the top reward. Everyone else who applies gets the standard gift (S$90 Cash via PayNow).
- Spend min. S$500 within the first 30 days from card approval
- SingSaver will email you a Rewards Redemption Form — check inbox (and spam folder) after applying. Fill it in within 14 days to claim your gift, or you’ll lose it.
5. DBS Woman's World Mastercard — 4 mpd online (S$1,000/month cap)
DBS Woman’s World Mastercard gives 4 miles per dollar on online spending in general, so as long as the Grab payment is made in-app, you can earn 4 miles per dollar up to S$1,000 per month.
Why I chose this card:
- Blacklist approach — bonuses any online transaction unless explicitly excluded, so it catches Grab, Gojek, Klook, and most online merchants automatically.
- Pair this with the DBS Altitude. Points from both cards pool into the same DBS Points balance, so you’ll hit the 5,000-point conversion block (= 10,000 miles) faster — instead of leaving small amounts stuck in your account unable to be converted.
- Open to all genders despite the name.
- S$1,000 per month is the cap (reduced from S$1,500 effective 1 August 2025).
Note: The DBS Points from DBS Woman’s World Mastercard expire every year. This might not be ideal for those with relatively low online spending.

- SingSaver will email you a Rewards Redemption Form — check inbox (and spam folder) after applying. Fill it in within 14 days to claim your gift, or you’ll lose it.
6. Standard Chartered Journey — 3 mpd Transport (S$1,000/statement month cap)
The Standard Chartered Journey Card earns 3 miles per dollar on online Transport spend in Singapore dollars, and the bank’s bonus list explicitly covers MCC 4111, 4121, 4411 and 4789 — so Grab, Gojek, TADA, Ryde, and Cabcharge Asia all qualify. The 3 miles per dollar bonus is capped at S$1,000 per statement month.
Why I chose this card:
- 3 miles per dollar on online Transport (MCC 4121), capped at S$1,000 per statement month.
- 1.2 miles per dollar on all other local spend; 2 miles per dollar on overseas spend.
- Standard Chartered miles do not expire while the card is active.

- Spend min. S$800 within 30 days of card approval

Cashback Cards
1. DBS yuu Card — up to 18% rebates on Gojek (S$800 min spend)
The same DBS yuu Card is the strongest cashback option for ride-hailing — redeem your yuu Points for vouchers and you get up to 18% rebates on Gojek spend at the bonus tier (S$800 monthly across yuu merchants). See the miles section above for the full earn-rate breakdown and conditions; the only difference here is the redemption format.

2. Citi Cashback Card — 8% on Private Commute (S$80/month cap, S$800 min)
Citi Cashback gives 8% cashback on petrol and local private hire / taxi (MCC 4121 — Grab, Gojek, TADA, Zig all qualify) and 6% cashback on dining and groceries. Cashback is capped at S$80 per month with a S$800 minimum monthly spend. This is different from Citi Cashback+ even though they look almost identical.
Why this card:
- 8% on petrol & private hire/taxi; 6% on dining & groceries — one card covers four high-spend categories at meaningful rates.
- Cashback capped at S$80 per month with a S$800 minimum monthly spend.
- Most flexible cashback card in this list — if Grab usage drops, your dining or groceries still earn at 6%, with the minimum spend met.
- Up to 20.88% petrol savings at Esso and Shell when stacked.

- Eligible for new main Citi Cardmembers only (no existing Citi card, no Citi card closed in the past 12 months)

3. Maybank Family & Friends — up to 8% Transport (S$80/month cap, S$1,600 Tier 2)
Post-1-Jan-2026, Family & Friends gives 6% at Tier 1 (S$800 monthly spend) and 8% at Tier 2 (S$1,600 monthly spend) on five selected categories. Pick Transport for Grab and ride-hailing services to qualify for 6–8% cashback.
Why I chose this card:
- Up to 5 selected categories per cycle: Transport, Dining, Entertainment, Automotive, and Beauty & Wellness. Pick Transport to bonus your ride-hailing spend.
Requirements (tap to expand)
- ONLY APPLICABLE FOR NEW-TO-BANK CARD APPLICANTS
- Apply for a new Maybank Credit Card (not applicable for Maybank XL cards)
- Charge min. S$1,300 within the first 2 months of card approval
- Fill the Google Form after signing up
- Alternative: apply for CreditAble + a Maybank Credit Card, then charge min. S$1,200 within 2 months
4. Citi SMRT Card — 5% on Taxi & Online (SMRT$600/year cap, S$500 min)
The Citi SMRT Card gives 5% cashback on selected categories — including taxi/private hire (MCC 4121), online spend (excluding travel and car rentals), and selected groceries — with a minimum spend of S$500 per statement month.
Why I chose this card:
- Low minimum spend. S$500/month is one of the most accessible thresholds among 5% cashback cards, which usually require S$800.
- Useful 5% categories. Covers taxi/private hire, online spend, and selected groceries.
- Annual cap, not monthly. Cashback is capped at SMRT$600 per card membership year (= 5% on up to S$12,000 of eligible spend), instead of resetting each month.
The annual cap gives you flexibility. As long as you hit the S$500 minimum in a given statement month, every dollar of online spend earns 5% — spending can be uneven across the year.
One thing to flag: the 5% online category excludes mobile wallet transactions and travel-related MCCs. So this works best for direct online checkouts — not Apple Pay / Google Pay payments, and not flight or hotel bookings.
Requirements (tap to expand)
- Eligible for new main Citi Cardmembers only (no existing Citi card, no Citi card closed in the past 12 months)

5. UOB One Card — up to 10% on Grab (Selected Partner; S$2,000/month + 10 transactions for top tier)
The UOB One Card has Grab listed as a Selected Partner, which means you earn extra cashback on top of the base rate when paying with the card. Total cashback can hit up to 10% at the top spend tier.
Cashback tiers:
- Tier 1 (S$600/month + 5 transactions): 3.33% base cashback (capped at S$60 per quarter).
- Tier 2 (S$1,000/month + 5 transactions): 3.33% base + Selected Partners (incl. Grab) at 5% additional + Grocery (MCC 5411) at 2.67% additional. Additional cashback capped at S$120 per statement month.
- Tier 3 (S$2,000/month + 10 transactions for 3 consecutive months): 3.33% base + Selected Partners (incl. Grab) at 6.67% additional — total 10% + Grocery at 4.67% additional.
Why this card:
- Grab is an explicit Selected Partner — the headline 10% applies to Grab rides at Tier 3.
- Same card also bonuses McDonald’s, Shopee, SimplyGo, and groceries.
- 22.66% fuel savings at Shell and SPC.
- Minimum spend matters: S$600/month + 5 transactions for any cashback at all (Tier 1); S$2,000/month + 10 transactions held for 3 consecutive months to unlock the headline 10% on Grab (Tier 3). If your monthly spend dips below the tier threshold, you drop to the lower tier — not zero, but no top-tier rate.
- Watch out: Grab mobile wallet top-ups are excluded from cashback — pay rides directly through the app, not via stored GrabPay balance.

Bonus Hack: Buy Grab & TADA Vouchers on HeyMax — Higher Rewards, Higher Effort
Here’s the trick: buy Grab gifts (Grabgifts) or TADA vouchers from HeyMax, then redeem them in-app on your rides. When you pay HeyMax for the voucher, your card sees a HeyMax purchase which is coded as 5311 (Department Stores) — so cards that bonus MCC 5311 pay you the shopping rate, not the ride-hailing base rate.
On top of that, HeyMax adds 2.2 Max Miles per S$1 on Grabgifts and 2.7 Max Miles per S$1 on TADA vouchers into your HeyMax account when you buy Grabgifts or TADA vouchers. Stacked with your card’s miles or cashback, this can clear ~6 miles per dollar equivalent on Grab and up to 7 miles per dollar on TADA on rides that would otherwise hit the 4 miles per dollar cap.
How to Get Started with HeyMax
If you don’t have a HeyMax account yet, you can sign up via my referral link below and use code 43774BFE — you’ll get 200 Max Miles welcome bonus when you sign up, verify your phone number and make your first voucher purchase (a S$5 Sheng Siong voucher works!).
43774BFE
How to claim (tap to expand)
- Download the HeyMax app from the App Store or Google Play
- Enter the referral code 43774BFE when prompted during sign-up
- Complete phone verification
- Make 1 confirmed transaction via HeyMax within 180 days of account creation
- Get 200 Max Miles as your sign-up reward
Best Cards to Buy HeyMax Grab & TADA Vouchers
Because HeyMax purchases code as online & 5311 Department Store, the cards below all earn their full bonus when buying vouchers. Pick whichever you already use for online spend:
- HSBC Revolution — 4 miles per dollar on selected online & contactless (S$1,000 per month cap).
- HSBC Live+ Credit Card — 5% cashback on shopping (MCC 5311 qualifies), so you get a clean 5% cashback on every HeyMax voucher you buy.
- Citi Rewards Mastercard — 4 miles per dollar on online spend (S$1,000 per month cap).
- DBS Woman’s World Mastercard — 4 miles per dollar on online spend (S$1,000 per month cap).
Caveat to test yourself: Some merchants cap how many vouchers can be applied to a single ride, and Grab/TADA may charge service fees. Start with one small voucher denomination on a short ride to verify before scaling up.
FAQ
Does Grab Food earn the same as Grab Rides?
No. Grab Food usually codes as MCC 5812 (Restaurants) or 5814 (Fast Food), so dining bonus categories apply — not the ride-hailing/transport bonuses on this list.
Are GrabPay top-ups or wallet loads bonused?
Usually no. GrabPay top-ups often code as quasi-cash or e-wallet (MCC 6540 or similar), which most cards exclude from bonus categories. Pay rides directly with your card — don’t pre-load a GrabPay balance for rewards purposes.
Does the same advice apply to Tribecar (car-share)?
Yes — Tribecar codes as MCC 4121, so the cards above apply to Tribecar too. (Note: GetGo codes as MCC 7512 instead — that’s a different bonus profile, covered in our car rentals article.)
What if my card's online category doesn't list MCC 4121 explicitly?
Some cards (like DBS Woman’s World Mastercard) bonus by online flag rather than by MCC, so they catch Grab automatically. Others (like Citi Rewards) treat the in-app charge as online when you add the card directly into the Grab app — just don’t pay through Apple Pay or Google Pay inside the app, which would not qualify.
Conclusion
For 2026, our top pick for miles is DBS yuu Card if you ride Gojek (up to 18% rebates or 10 miles per dollar — nothing comes close), and HSBC Revolution for Grab and other ride-hailing apps . For cashback, UOB One Card at up to 10% on Grab (top tier) is unbeatable for heavy spenders, and Citi Cashback Card at 8% on private commute is the strongest pick for moderate spenders. The DBS yuu Card again wins for Gojek riders.
