  • Earn 2.4 miles per dollar  on Dining, Online Shopping, Online Travel, and Transport when you spend S$1,000 on SIA related spends in a card membership year (see “Past Buffs/Nerfs” below for more info)
  • Earn 1.2 miles per dollar on all other purchases
  • Since points are earned for every S$5 spent, a $4.99 purchase will not earn you any points.

  • 2x S$15 Voucher for Changi WiFi

Best Used in Singapore Airline Group (SIA) Related Transactions and Kris+ Transactions
  • You can earn 3 Krisflyer miles per dollar (in a calendar month) with no minimum spend and no cap for these transactions. This applies to both online and offline spending, in SGD or foreign currency. SIA Transactions are defined as:
    • Singapore Airlines
    • Scoot
    • KrisShop
  • You can also earn an uncapped 3 miles per dollar on Pelago Bookings
  • No transfer fee on miles because they’re already KrisFlyer miles. Base KrisFlyer miles will be credited directly to your KrisFlyer membership account each month. The Bonus KrisFlyer miles will be credited to your account only after you pay the KrisFlyer UOB Card’s annual fee of S$194.40. Following that, you can expect to receive the bonus miles within two months of the payment. Basically, there’ll be a 14-month delay before your bonus miles can reach your account.

Buffs:
  • From 1 June 2025, you can earn an uncapped 3 miles per dollar on Pelago Bookings

Nerfs:

From 1 June 2025

  • The bonus 3 miles per dollar (1.8 mpd bonus miles + 1.2 mpd base miles) for online food delivery, online shopping, online travel & transport will be decreased to 2.4 miles per dollar (1.2 mpd bonus miles + 1.2 mpd base miles)
  • Also, the minimum spend required will be increased from S$800 to S$1,000
  • These changes will apply to UOB Krisflyer cards that are renewed or approved from December 2024

From 1 October 2024

  • UOB will no longer include Amaze transactions in its rewards program— will no longer earn krisflyer miles
  • UOB has always had an Amaze exclusion in its terms and conditions, but this exclusion was only applicable specifically on AMAZE*TRANSIT*. Starting 1 October 2024, however, the Amaze exclusion will be definite.

Advantages:
  • Earn an uncapped 3 miles per dollar on SIA related transactions
  • Miles transfer fees are free— earn KrisFlyer miles directly
  • With a KrisFlyer UOB account, you can receive up to 6 bonus miles per dollar

Disadvantages:
  • Miles are only transferrable to one transfer partner since it is a co-branded card.
  • The minimum yearly spend of S$800 may be difficult to hit, more so after 1 June 2025 when this increased to S$1,000
  • Miles may take up to 14 months to arrive – therefore you should take note of this if you wish to cancel your card
  • Is there a transfer fee: There’s no transfer fee for miles since they’re already KrisFlyer miles.
  • When will I receive my miles: Base KrisFlyer miles are credited to your KrisFlyer account each month. Bonus KrisFlyer miles will be credited after you pay the KrisFlyer UOB Card’s annual fee of S$194.40. You’ll receive the bonus miles within two months of the payment, so expect a 14-month delay before your bonus miles appear in your account.

Final Thoughts:

If you frequently travel with Singapore Airlines and you have a substantial amount of spending in the 3 miles per dollar category, you might consider applying for this credit card.

💳 Credit cards change their T&Cs every so often and it is difficult to stay updated. That’s why I created a Telegram Broadcast where you can receive timely bite-sized updates to get the most out of your spending.

💡 We believe in always paying our credit card bills on time and in full. It is only by doing that, can we fully maximise our credit card benefits.
